For  The Music Man,  I served as the draper for the character of Marian.  The two builds for her was the dress she wore to the bridge in Act II, pictured above, and the tailored jacket and skirt seen below.  I also constructed her gown and my first

 This is a photograph from the mock-up fitting.  Overall, it went well.  There were not any changes to the skirt.  The jacket front needed to be opened a bit more towards the hem.  The biggest change was the sleeves were not right at all.  They were

 For the mock-up of the dress, there were not any changes.  The finished gown was going to have multiple layers of satin and a poly sheer so I used an peach lace we had in the shop with the muslin fabric to create the mock-up.  This was a great time
