This is a bolero and skirt that I draped and supervised the construction of for the character of Emma Goldman in  Tintypes.  This skirt also had to bustle up in both the front and the back as the actress wore it while roller-skating onstage in Act I

 Here in the fabric fitting I pinned up a general idea of what the bustling would look like now that we had a hem marked.  I fussed with the height of the bustling later on the mannequin so as to not use up the actress’ or designer’s time.  Photograp
