This is a dress that I draped and oversaw the construction of for Anita in Porthouse’s production of West Side Story.  This was a great process that offered much in collaboration with the costume designer.  I am very proud with how this garment came

 Based on the conversation that Michelle and I had, I draped and mocked up a few variations on the bodice based on my own research as well as those provided for me.  When these were ready the designer and I discussed what worked and what she still ne
 After making changes and redraping the bodice, I was able to complete a full mockup to fit to the actor.  In the fitting we discovered that body of the actor was noticeably asymmetrical.  I pinned the necessary adjustments and I was able to correct
